In Kyle Walker and Steven Caulker, Spurs have used loan spells to bring two young defenders into the first team squad but it seems that there may be no place at the club for Kyle Naughton.
Naughton joined Tottenham, along with Walker, in 2009 for a combined fee of £8million. Since then, his opportunities at the Lane have been limited but he has gained plenty of match experience during loan spells with Leicester and Norwich City.
It seems however that the player has done little to catch the eye of his parent club but one man who was impressed was former Norwich boss Paul Lambert who is said to be lining up a £5million deal to Aston Villa.
With that kind of money on the table, should we take the bid or should Naughton really have a future at Spurs?
I haven’t seen him play a lot tbh but after gaining premier league experience with Norwich last season and the departure of Corluka i was expecting him to be a part of the 25 man squad and provide cover for Walker. If we sell him we will only have Kaboul as cover unless AVB is going to bring Adam Smith through or buy someone else.
Grab the money and run like hell! We need a &$##$ing striker!
THERE’S A GAP THAT HAS TO BE MINDED. MIND THE GAP!!! FOREVER IN OUR SHADOW!!!!
please be kind to us.. we are pathetic enough to even think of our tottenham to be in the same league as Arsenal’s shadows…. let alone the real arsenal team..
Sad that a gooner has nothing better to do than leave stupid comments on a Spurs blog. When was the last time you got laid again?
The last time you spuds had no gap to mind. lol
