Spurs’ attempts to attract former England number 2 Franco Baldini in as their Director of Football have been widely publicised. This morning however, there are conflicting stories as to the current situation regarding this proposed link.
However, the papers are fairly certain that Baldini will come to White Hart Lane – they just can’t seem to agree on the timing. Some stories suggest that a move is imminent, amidst rumours of disquiet at Roma while others claim that Daniel Levy will wait patiently until the end of the season before snaring his number one target.
If there is anything certain, it could be that Spurs will bring someone into this role sooner or later and Andre Villas-Boas confirms that he has no objections.
“I have worked with one at Porto and Academica and had no issues with that and I certainly promote that,” AVB said.
Other options including Antero Henrique and Txiki Beguiristain have been mentioned but could it have been Baldini all along?
Apart from speculation one player I feel should come to Spurs is “ISCO” Malaga playmaker & he can score Goals, unlike “Modric” watch him tonight at Anderlecht !!
If not a see report on game tomorrow !!
