Spurs take on Arsenal in the north London derby at the Emirates this weekend, and are 4 shots with Betfred and Paddy Power to come away with a much needed three points.
On current form there is very little to choose between the two sides.
Arsenal have made their worst Premier League start under Arsene Wenger, while Spurs have lost three of their last four league games and crashed out of the League Cup at Norwich.
However there are some positive stats as far as Andres Villas-Boas’ men are concerned as Arsenal have won just two of their last eight league games at the Emirates and also just two of the last eight meetings between the two sides.
Gareth Bale has scored three goals against Arsenal, his joint-highest tally against any opponent in the league, and is priced up at 10 withPaddy Power to net the opener and looks cracking value at 4 with Ladbrokes to score anytime.
There have been 23 scored in the last four Premier League games between the pair at Emirates Stadium and nine of the last 10 meetings in all competitions have seen at least three goals scored.
The last six league meetings between the two have resulted in 27 goals – an average of 4.5 – and that makes over 2.5 look a great punt.
I am going to take Spurs to edge out their arch rivals 3-2, and that scoreline is priced up at 29 with sportingbet.
