Tottenham sealed a point at a blustery Carrow Road last night and you’d have to concede that it was just about a fair result on the night. The question over striking options will naturally become a focus but Gareth Bale’s 80th minute equaliser did at least stop the side from slipping to two straight defeats.

After the game, head coach Andre Villas-Boas conceded that it was a difficult contest but he seemed happy with the second half comeback that secured the point.

“Norwich put in a really good first half performance and our second half performance was very good as well,” AVB said on the club’s official website.

“At half-time the players recognised that they wanted to change their attitude and they really made the difference in the second half.

“It was an extremely good second half – the power, the ambition and playing attacking football in difficult circumstances.

“After we made it 1-1, we had chances to make it 2-1 and it’s a pity that didn’t happen.”

Andre hoped that Spurs could continue that improvement when they tackle West Brom on Sunday.

“Hopefully the second half will be a good example of what we want to do at West Brom,” he concluded.

Spurs remain in fourth but Everton closed the gap to one point with victory over the Baggies. Spurs now head to the Hawthorns but will there be any new faces in that squad?

  2. We suddenly look vulnerable , what’s going on? Is it a coincidence that this is the case and Sandro is now missing? I think not. It’s gotta be said that scotty Parker was brilliant last night. He was very sharp and his passing going forward was good but Sandro has been so good at breaking up play in the middle.

I reckon AVB must stop changing it up at cb and Dempsey will now be fazed out from the number ten role now that we have a guy who looks really tidy in that position.

We desperately need cover for dcm and a striker. This must be done today. If we fail in the market we will fail on the pitch this season. Both scouse teams and the goons look great going forward. Why cant we?
