With just over half an hour to go before kick off, Spurs have confirmed their side to face Dinamo Tbilisi and there are a number of changes from the team that began the first leg in Georgia seven days ago.
Brad Friedel replaces Hugo Lloris in goal while there are first starts of the campaign for Sandro, Lewis Holtby, Jermain Defoe and Tom Carroll in the heart of midfield.
The full side reads
Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Naughton; Holtby, Carroll, Sandro, Sigurdsson, Townsend; Defoe.
Subs: Lloris, Paulinho, Soldado, Capoue, Dembele, Fryers, Kane
What are your thoughts – happy with that line up?
Whey!!! I feel like a spoilt brat at xmas, so many new toys, not sure which is my favourite!! decisions, decisions! C.O.Y.S
Tom Carroll is too immature physically toI play yet.He needs to run faster, tackle and move forward for return passes.I hope he can learn by watching Paulinho.I hope Holtby plays “in the hole” and Siggy is out wide left.
Just a question, how come Chadli is not even in the sub bench? Did he pick up a knock in our last Sun game?
