When Andre Villas-Boas left the club in December, it would have been impossible to imagine that our key player in the run in to the end of the campaign would be Emmanuel Adebayor. But at present, it seems that the Togolese is the only striker in the club capable of finding the net.
Tim Sherwood was the man to place trust in Ade when he took charge at White Hart Lane and the current Head Coach says he is delighted with the player’s progress.
“I know he did well over a whole season for Arsenal in the past and I’m hoping he will do that here,” Sherwood said.
“It’s all about how he is being managed. He is a good character.
“Every striker will have a sticky patch but I’m just delighted with him at the moment.”
Ade has added seven goals in 11 matches since Tim Sherwood took over but is it right to put faith in one man, particularly as Jermain Defoe is set to leave the club?
Not a fan of the bloke but have to admit he is doing very well
