Spurs kick off against Turkish opponents in the Europa League tonight and with Besiktas running Arsenal close in their Champions League qualifier, head coach Mauricio Pochettino is wary of the threat posed this evening.

Speaking to the club’s official website Pochettino is looking to build on the point earned at the Emirates last weekend.

“Arsenal was a great point for our belief and to have a good performance there was good for us,” he said.

“Now we expect another tough game. Besiktas are a very good team, unbeaten in Turkey and it was difficult for Arsenal to go through against them in the Champions League, they had a very good performance.

“We respect them but we beieve in our skill and potential and we want to win the three points.

“We need to try to have a good performance, to believe and try to get the three points. I think it’s a good opportunity to show our skill.”

The countdown to kick off has begun but how do you see this one going?

  1. We need to show commitment and be first to every ball press high up the pitch n don’t let this turkish side rest I think its going to be a good game and hopefully the result will follow.

  2. I think Mason should get a start along side Capoue n Soldado should start get a few goals then rest players for Sunday, we need to get wins in the premiership n kill the game.

  3. It’s all very well pressing the game and being first to the ball as long you don’t lose your creative edge, like think they should start Townsend on the left to stretch the play and play sold ado and Kane upfront they seem to have good understanding, lamela needs a big game as well doubt if he lol play thou,
