Many would argue that the loss of Nabil Bentaleb to injury hasn’t been of great concern to the club but supporters of the 20 year old Algerian would be pleased to learn that he stands a chance of playing in tomorrow night’s Europa League tie with Partizan.
Bentaleb has been out for six weeks with an ankle problem but the Spurs official website showed him in training and it’s been confirmed that he is available for Thursday night.
One man who won’t make the cut is right back Kyle Walker who has been sidelined with a long term abdominal problem.
“Kyle Walker will not be involved,” said Maurico Pochettino, in reference to the Partizan game.
“Not at the moment, maybe in the next few weeks. Maybe then he has the possibility to be involved.”
Walker’s return won’t exactly spark a selection dilemma and the right back will surely walk straight back into the side – could we say the same about Bentaleb however?
