Spurs narrowly beat Sheffield United 1-0 tonight to give themselves a slender advantage to take into the second leg of this Capital One Cup semi-final.

It was a flat performance from the home side where few players really stood out. Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen looked solid together again, with the latter playing a fine ball to Roberto Soldado whose skill forced a penalty. Andros Townsend knocked it home to secure the win.

  1. Ade,terrible, mason not far behind him Townsend 1 trick pony…just about scored with pen,Erickson had a poor game…but the team looked unbalanced

  2. Biased and hate reviews on Ade…..I wish some Spurs fans get off his back and judge the football on the pitch and not perceived personality. Ade got no good supply and didn’t play worse than Kane, Erickson or Davies. Booing a player wouldn’t help the team
