The Mirror have today linked Spurs with a move for the Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, who they claim is rated at £12m.
Wilson has been prolific over the past two seasons, scoring 22 goals in 41 games for League One’s Coventry in 2013-14, before moving to Bournemouth where he’s added another 22 goals in 47 appearances en-route to promotion to the Premier League.
With Bournemouth now in the top flight, there will be little pressure for the club to sell for anything less than the right price. With Wilson yet to taste the Premier League this will represent something on a gamble, yet if he stays at Bournemouth and continues to score regularly then his fee will only grow larger.
The following video shows a number of Wilson’s goals for Bournemouth this season and what’s clear is that he’s extremely quick and is a cool finisher. Is this the right calibre of striker for Tottenham to target this summer?
