The conveyer belt from Tottenham’s academy continues to churn out talent and on the evidence of tonight 16-year old Marcus Edwards could have a bright future at White Hart Lane.
An attacking midfielder, Edwards scored a spectacular solo goal for England U-17 in their European Championship match with Ireland. It proved to be the winning goal as England won 1-0.
The side so far unbeaten after three games, with Edwards also having scored the winner in the victory over Italy. Watch his second goal of the tournament below and also take the opportunity to marvel at his quite wonderful hair.
