Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard have both been called up to the MLS All-Star squad that will face Spurs in pre-season.
The Premier League legends were named by as part of the MLS commissioner Don Garber’s picks, along with ten players who were voted into the squad by fans and somewhat bizarrely – Obafemi Martins – on account that he is the MLS player used to score the greatest number goals on FIFA 15.
Joining Gerrard and Lampard in the squad is another player very familiar to Tottenham fans, former Spur Clint Dempsey, along with the likes of Kaka and David Villa. The match will take in Colorado on July 29th.
