It looked like Benjamin Stambouli was on his way to Watford a couple of weeks ago, but now Paris St Germain are leading the chase having reportedly made a £6m bid for the midfielder.
If the deal goes through Stambouli will leave Spurs after less than a year, despite impressing many when he was given the opportunity. Here’s how Twitter has reacted to the news.

Stambouli has a hard choice to make. Watford or Paris. I know what I'd pick #Oceana

Watch every Spurs fan now rate Benjamin Stambouli just because he is joining PSG even though it is just to fill the homegrown quota.

If Psg are trying to sign Stambouli I really think we missing out on something id keep him and give him more playing time ?

Honestly think it would be a mistake to let Benji Stambouli go. Still believe that he has a role to play at Spurs. #THFC

Think Stambouli will be a decent signing for PSG. Knows Ligue 1 well & won't moan that he's not playing, like Cabaye did.

I wouldn't mind if Stambouli stayed and fought for a spot but I wouldn't mind if he left either to make room for someone that will.

I quite liked him tbh but he seems too slow for the premier league.
