The Spurs U21 side beat Everton 4-1 today and the star of the show was Alex Pritchard.
There are high hopes for Pritchard this season after a great campaign on-loan at Brentford in the Championship last term. Injured for much of the summer, Pritchard got the first 45 minutes under his belt today before being taken off and put in a match-winning performance, scoring twice.
Could Pritchard be on the bench when Tottenham play Stoke at the weekend? Here’s how Twitter reacted to his performance.

Honestly, can't wait to see Pritchard play for us. Genuinely think he can push to become a consistent player in the starting XI.

Simply,is Pritchard the answer to our wing problems? Do we already own the type of player we actually need?

Alex Pritchard looks well equipped to push Christian Eriksen this season #COYS

Spurs fans want us to spend big on attacking players then Pritchard steps up and bangs in two. Good job Levy doesn't listen to Twitter.

Pritchard has got to be a shoe in for at least a place on the bench on Saturday.

Kane , Alli , Pritchard , Rose , Dier , Trippier , Carrol , Walker , Winks , Onamah and Mcgee all first team starters all eligible and all more than capable enough to play for England now or in the near future . Shame Veljkovic isn’t eligible we could field a full English team that would give most premier clubs a good game. COY(E)S
Why even mention Pritchard on the bench? start him on Saturday that is the only way we will benefit from his abilities.
