The international break is finally over and Spurs are back in action against Sunderland tomorrow.
Both sides are searching for their first win of the season but it’s fair to say that there is more pressure for Tottenham to get off the mark. Mauricio Pochettino is likely to stick with the same goalkeeper and back four that kept a clean sheet against Everton, starting Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
The centre of midfield should also be unchanged, with Eric Dier and Nabil Bentaleb sitting in behind Ryan Mason, deputising for the still injured Christian Eriksen.
Also injured are Mousa Dembele, Clinton Njie and Andros Townsend, making it an easy decision by Pochettino to give Heung-Min Son his debut on the left and switching Nacer Chadli over to the right. Harry Kane will play as a lone striker.
Here’s our Spurs side to face Sunderland, what’s yours?
Same, except I’d leave Chadli on the left.
I agree that is the team Poch will probably play, but I would rather play Ali than Bentalab. The team lacks goals and Bentalab and Mason are very poor in front of goal. Ali would be a better choice he has far more to game than Bentalab. Also we have a game on Thurs and I suspect Benatalab may saved for that game.

We need more African players n ting. African power.
Trippier?
Give Trippier a go, Walker is not very good (being polite). Ali in the middle, we need some attacking nous and I like the lad’s attitude and confidence.
Drop Walker and Verts. Put Trippier at right back and Dier in defence. Put Mason back with Bentaleb and put Pricth as attacking midfielder

Wimmer couldn’t do any worse than who? There’s been f*** all wrong with our defence this season. I really don’t know what the hell you or anyone else is talking about.
We conceded one (an unfortunate own goal) at Manchester United.
We conceded two (a penalty and a freak cross that missed everyone and tricked Lloris) against Stoke.
We switched off for 30 seconds against Leicester and conceded 1, but it was one hell of a finish.
We kept a clean sheet against Everton.
Hardly calls for claims that our defence “couldn’t do any worse”. We could have conceded 5 in every game. That would have been worse. And therein I have disproved your ridiculously silly point.

I would swap tripper for walker move mason back alongside diet and play either Ali or Lamela in the Ericson role
Spurs win 0-3 Kane 2 and son 1
COYS
Zzz not lamela please.
I would put trippier ahead of walker coz honestly walker doesnt put much impact on the right side, bentaleb ahead of dier coz dier have been starting ever since. Mason infront of bentaleb, alli playing cam, son left, chadli right and kane as striker.

I feel Rose could do a job there. Walker for Chadli if we need to protect a lead late doors. Solid.
