After an early penalty was calmly put away by the visitors, Spurs managed to turn their Europa League clash with Qarabag on it’s head before the break.
Home debutant Son Heung-Min scored twice to put the hosts in the lead. You can watch both goals here.
Erik Lamela, on the other hand, had a terrible first half, while Dele Alli was superb. The young midfielder brilliantly set Son up for his second.
So despite it being an evening game, the Son shone during the first half at White Hart Lane…
