Mauricio Pochettino has made four changes for Tottenham’s trip to Bournemouth after the 2-1 defeat in Anderlecht on Thursday night.
Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Harry Kane all return to the starting eleven, while Ryan Mason is back from injury as a substitute. Alli will partner Eric Dier in central midfield as Mousa Dembele is pushed up into the attacking midfield trio behind Kane.
Andros Townsend is also on bench, but there is no place for Ben Davies. Here’s how Twitter reacted to the team news.
So harsh on @Ben_Davies33 not even on the bench!

so pleased to see Ryan on the bench, hope he comes on at some point, not sure about Dembele in the 3, but a good team.

No doubt Pochettino's consistency in the back-line has been one of the core reasons why our defensive record cannot be bettered in PL. #THFC

Surprised with Dembele and Dier playing. Alli as a CAM? Dembele 10 or wide right? Eriksen on the left? All seems a bit mixed up really #COYS

It's gonna be Eriksen off the left and Lamela on the right with Dembele in the middle and sitting when we're under pressure. I expect a win.

Dembele/Eriksen/Lamela behind Kane saw us play our best football last season. Should be far too good for Bournemouth

Great to see Alli starting for Spurs. Young budding talent but really holding his own with the big guns. Future star for sure. #COYS
