Mauricio Pochettino continues his trend of picking a strong starting eleven in both the Premier League and Europa League.
Tottenham have made only three changes from the side that thrashed West Ham 4-1 on Sunday, with Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies and Ryan Mason replacing Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Ryan Mason.
With Chelsea visiting the Lane at noon on Sunday, tonight’s team selection is clearly a big risk. But, if anything, the starting lineup proves there is a belief among the coaching staff that the Europa League is winnable this season.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the team news.
Very strong team for tonight. Hopefully they'll all get through unharmed. #COYS

Strong Spurs XI which is great. Only playing Chelsea on Sunday, so, yaaay…

Criticising a lineup for being "too strong" is the most Spurs thing I can imagine ?

Months ago, that team would be questionable. But with the way we dealt with Villa/Anderlecht/Arsenal, I 100% trust Poch with rotation.

Considering Qarabag's great home form not surprising the team Pochettino has put out. We need to play at our best to win tonight #COYS

I bet Poch gets blamed if we lose on Sunday. Dude can't win.

Poch has gone nuts, unnecessary gambling with too many of our 1st eleven.Hope we're not crying on Sunday

Is "that's a strong team" trending yet?
— Liquid Spurs (@LiquidSpurs) November 26, 2015
Not the team I'd have gone with but I'm not paid to make those decisions. Big call from Poch

…we can start bringing players off early in the second and be confident of holding the lead.

I am happy with the team, especially as Ryan is starting. If we get a reasonable lead then we can sub Harry & Chris off at HT.

“Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies and Ryan Mason replacing Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Ryan Mason”….. I like how Ryan Mason is replacing Ryan Mason… Im sure you mean he’s replacing Deli Alli right?!
Or Dembele maybe?
