It was a match that won’t live long in the memory at White Hart Lane. Tottenham and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw, meaning Spurs stay 10 points ahead of the visitors going into December.
Tottenham started well, forcing Asmir Begovic into two good saves through Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane. Chelsea looked dangerous on the break but failed to create anything meaningful before half time.
After the break, Spurs looked lethargic. The game could have gone either way, but it was Chelsea who came closest to winning it; Hugo Lloris brilliantly saved Eden Hazard’s stinging volley to keep things level.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result.
Nothing really clicked for us today. So I'll take the draw #COYS

Think we can be happy with that point given the exertions on Thurs. One of those games where it's important not to lose. Both teams pleased?

We've got to learn to break down lower table teams who set out for a draw if we wanna win the league

STAT: We're now 13 league games without defeat which is our longest unbeaten run in the @premierleague. #COYS

It has now been 112 days since Spurs last lost a Premier League game.

massive point for chelsea. did a job on us. defended really well, stopped us gaining momentum in game. we suffered for it, untidy at times

Can't believe the commentators felt the onus was on us to attack. We played on Thursday. We are 10 points ahead.

Pretty flat, but still unbeaten, solid defensively again, run goes on despite that long journey on Thursday #COYS

Most lethargic Spurs performance for some time coincides with one of Chelsea's best. Mourinho happy with a point at WHL – sign of the times.

Tbf we do have a history of dropping points at home to teams near the bottom of the table. #thfc

Without a second's hesitation, Mousa Dembele Spurs' man of the match again today. Another brilliant performance in midfield.

You'd hope that sort of 2nd half is the sort of 2nd half that means Mauricio gets another striker. Kane looked (understandably) knackered.

Really didn't want to use Thursday's trip to Azerbaijan as an excuse, but you could see it took its toll on our play today.

I'll take that result. The boys were puffing at the end, but kept their discipline. On we march. #coys

Due to the Thursday game and travelling we did looked jaded and lacked the usual sharpness today which was understandable as it was basically the same side and i believe we would of won given proper time to recover, thought the ref gave them everything aswell which didn’t help but great to still be unbeaten and a new record, hope Mason is ok as he has just got back playing fingers crossed, onwards and upwards Coys.
Andy Murray plays 3 hard games in 3 days each one more than 2 3/4 hours to win the Davis cup..we play 2 games in a short period ..with substitutes And We Are Tired??? Come on people ..we are NOT fit !!!
