Tottenham came from a goal down to thrash Sunderland 4-1 at White Hart Lane, tightening their grip on fourth place in the Premier League.
Sunderland took the lead late in the first half despite Spurs’ early dominance, but the hosts took only 90 seconds to equalise through Christian Eriksen.
Mousa Dembele added a second after the break before Eriksen grabbed another. Harry Kane wrapped up the win from the spot.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result and performance.
Says quite a lot when we win 4-1 and you still feel we weren't quite at our best. Time to push on now and aim higher up that table!

Question was how we was going to react after that midweek defeat & despite going behind today our answer was simple, pretty emphatic.

It's a good job the players at Spurs aren't as mentally fragile as some of their fans. There'll be ups & downs but the club is in good hands

Comfortable (ish) win today was just what the doctor ordered. Still concerned about tired legs but nice to get through it without injuries.

#thfc Dembele's importance was underlined & good to see him on the scoresheet again. Would be nice to see him in those positions more often.

Hate to be critical of a 4-1 win but we were sloppy today. Probably played better on Wednesday, just got all the breaks today #coys
