Well. That was… pretty incredible. Tottenham turned around a 1-0 half-time deficit to win 3-1 at Crystal Palace thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Nacer Chadli either side of a wonder strike by Dele Alli.
With the scores poised at 1-1, Dele Alli flicked the ball over his own head and stunningly volleyed home. It was a goal of incredible skill and showed just how much confidence there is flowing through this young man.
Feast your eyes on this…
Nacer Chadli added a third at the death to secure a wonderful victory for the visitors.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Alli’s goal of the season contender and the result.

— Gareth Bale (@GarethBale11) January 23, 2016
The level of ability required to score that goal is high. The level of confidence to attempt it is other worldly. Still in awe.

Phil Thompson on Sky after the Alli goal "The referee should have just said that's it, stop the game, everybody off". "Roy pick this man".

We'll be watching that Dele goal years from now. Up there with the best of Gazza, Hoddle, Ginola etc imo. Absolute classic!

I think Alli retired Jedinak today. The cynical shoulder barge in the back confirmed it.
