Erik Lamela scored Tottenham’s second goal to put Spurs 2-0 up on the night and 3-1 up against Fiorentina in the Europa League first knockout round.
It was Argentine’s ninth goal of the season, and his sixth in six European games.
Nacer Chadli’s shot was saved by the Fiorentina goalkeeper, but the ball eventually fell to Lamela who made no mistake with his left foot. Like Mason’s opener, it was a finish that improved on second viewing.
