Reports from Italy claim that Spurs are interested in signing the Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini.
Valued at £15.7m, the Italian international signed for Napoli in 2014 from Sampdoria for a fee of €13m. While his first season at the club was a success, he has only scored two goals and made three assists in 17 Serie A appearances during this campaign.
The versatile forward is able to play as a lone striker, behind the front man or on either flank. His preferred role is on the right, from where he can cut inside on to his stronger left foot.
Also reportedly wanted by West Ham, Gabbiadini’s ability to play in several roles could make him a useful member of the Tottenham squad next season, but whether he can offer the much needed cover for Harry Kane is another matter. Watch him in action below.
