The president of the Serie A outfit Palermo has claimed that Spurs are in negotiations to sign Franco Vazquez.
Vazquez has been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks and now the Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that talks between the clubs have begun, with a price being set for the Italian international.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Zamprini said: “I’m in contact with Tottenham for Vazquez and I requested £19.5m for him.
“I received some lower offers for Vazquez but he’s worth as much as Dominico Berardi.”
Berardi – also linked to Spurs – looks set to make a move from Sassuolo to Juventus for a rumoured fee of £16m, so there could be room for Tottenham to negotiate with Zamprini given his comparison.
Vazquez has scored 18 goals over the last two seasons and has established himself as one of the top playmakers in Italy. Is he worth paying Palermo’s valuation for? Watch him in action below and let us know your verdict below.
hmmm i certainly do like him, he certainly can dribble alright, it might be a bit of a leap going from the serie a to the prem, so its hard to say i do like him though but its up to how hes able to adapt thst will affect his chances
Serie a looks sooooo slow
My mum was quicker than most of those defenders, I’ve never seen so much room on a football pitch. They looked like warm up games !!!!
Still he knows how to finish but he won’t get that much time or space in the prem. But if poch wants him gotta trust the manager COYS
Agree with above comments re serie A. However he shows all the right qualities. He will be fitter at Spurs so can adapt. I saw Son on video last year & he looked magic , but jury still out. Up to Poch. Still want Defoe back.
He must be one of the better players that Pochard said. Spurs needed to complete in the champions League.
What a thing to say
FOOL.
