Reports from Spain claim that Spurs have made an offer for the Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez.
Mundo Deportivio report that the 21-year old is wanted to provide cover and long-term competition for Hugo Lloris and that a ‘firm offer’ has been made.
An unnamed Serie A club are also said to be interested in Pau, who made his debut for Mauricio Pochettino’s former club in 2014.
Pau has come through the youth ranks at Espanyol and was at the club when Pochettino was the head coach.
It would be no surprise then if Pochettino was indeed interested in the highly-rated keeper who made his Spanish U21 debut this year and was named in Spain’s full squad for their pre-Ero 2016 friendly against Bosnia. Watch him in action against Atletico Madrid last season, below.
Wilshere is bumming me again and the ox is watching
Summer was a bit boring ?
Is there any truth in this? Do you think Poch even remembers his name? LOL
Sounds promising
