James Milner’s penalty had given Liverpool a deserved first half lead from the spot at White Hart Lane, but Tottenham found a way back into the game after the break through an unlikely source.
Full back Danny Rose popped up with the equaliser with twenty minutes to go of Spurs’ clash with Liverpool. Eric Dier’s cross from the right somehow found its way to the feet of Rose, who made room for himself before beating Mignolet at the near post with the outside of his foot.
