Spurs announced today that Danny Rose is the latest player to commit his future to the club, as the left-back signed a new five-year deal.
The news was celebrated by Tottenham fans, which shows how far Rose has come during Mauricio Pochettino’s time at the club. Prior to the Pochettino era, Rose often had the Spurs crowd on his back and there was a deluge of online criticism when he previously extended his contract.
It just goes to show that no player should ever be written off, especially when you have a manager like Pochettino who consistently improves the players at his disposal.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the news of Rose’s new contract.

So proud of Danny Rose. His previous contract signing brought out the worst in 'fans' but he's responded by becoming one of the best LBs.

When Danny Rose signed his last contract I was livid. Thought he was toilet. Delighted to have been proved very wrong on him. Well done lad
