Mauricio Pochettino seems to have two big decisions to make ahead of the trip to West Brom.
With Spurs having failed to beat the Baggies last season, you can bet that Pochettino will not be taking this lightly and will be selecting as strong a side as possible.
That means the same goalkeeper and back four that faced Manchester City. It’s in midfield where we could see changes, with much depending on whether Mousa Dembele is deemed fit enough to play.
Further the forward there is the question of whether Heung-Min Son should start as a central striker, or whether the strength of Vincent Janssen would be preferable against a physical side like West Brom.
Here’s our Spurs side to face West Brom. What’s yours?
Spot on, definitely what I would play. COYS!!!
I think Dier may play in place of Son who’s had a long trip back. However, Poch seems to spring a surprise most matches
I’d start Lamala ahead of Sissoko all day
I’m not convinced by Sissoko yet – early days – but I’d still prefer him to Lamela who has had plenty of time to show what he’s capable of. But I still don’t know what he’s capable of except running around achieving very little. Is it just me?
Well as usual Poch suprises us all, presumably Lamela has shown enough in training to warrant a start. What this tells us of course is that we’d all pick a slightly different team but the manager will use his resources to the best effect. (And of course there’s almost no such thing as our ‘best’ side) Great to see Dembele back.
