Mauricio Pochettino has made two changes to his Spurs side that convincingly beat Manchester City a fortnight ago.
Heung-Min Son drops to bench, suggesting he hasn’t fully recovered from either an injury or fitness issue exacerbated by international duty. Vincent Janssen replaces Son up front.
Danny Rose is absent from the squad, so Ben Davies starts at left back. Thankfully, however, Mousa Dembele’s foot injury isn’t as bad as first feared: the Belgian is among the substitutes.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to all the team news.

Poch hinted that the international duty caused a few 'complications' in his presser. Seems like Son picked up a knock/Rose is injured.

I really really really hope Danny Rose's total absence from the squad is just a precaution ahead of Tuesday #COYS

A lot of rotation is going to be needed over the next 20 odd days, that line up is decent tbf.

Have to trust Poch on the freshness of the players but that line up without Son really does lack the look of too many goals. Gonna be tough

Shame for Son and maybe Spurs his international efforts have meant him being on the bench, but in his form he can still help from there.

Interesting that Son has been rested after his long haul excursions at international duty, yet Lamela is in the team.

#thfc Poch hinted he was a little concerned that Rose had played 2 games for England after returning from injury, and Son's travelled a lot.

Today is the day for Vincent Janssen

Fan of this 4-1-4-1. Nice to have more than a Plan A this year.

Huge game for Janssen off the back of goal for the Dutch during the week & Kane back in training next week, needs a goal today. #COYS#THFC
