Mauricio Pochettino has dropped Vincent Janssen to bench for Tottenham’s league visit to Bournemouth.
Janssen is yet to score a goal from open play since joining Spurs in the summer. Heung-Min starts up front for the visitors.
Mousa Dembele returns to the starting eleven, and Danny Rose has overcome a foot problem to start at left back.
Eric Dier continues to partner Jan Vertonghen at centre back in the absence of Toby Alderweireld.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to all the team news.

Mistake playing Son & not Janssen up top imo. In other news, what does Lamela have on Poch? Must be something big?!

Is N'koudou injured? He's done well in his sub appearances but not been on the bench lately

#thfc Tricky one for Pochettino – he says Janssen needs support and patience, but how long do you persist with a striker who isn't scoring?

Agree with Son over Janssen – some games we need the big man who can hold it up. Today, we need someone quick who can get in behind.

N'Koudou unlucky to once again miss out on squad, no doubt young player who will get his chance with games coming thick & fast. #COYS#THFC

That’s Toby and Kane away from our best XI. If both are back for the NLD, it’s happy days.

Congratulations to Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker who makes his 200th appearance for the club today. #COYS pic.twitter.com/pteiTvv9Rc

Unfortunately nkoudou isn’t even on the bench.he’s better than both lamela and eriksen, but think he needs time to show off himself to poch.good luck coys.you have always been my favourite!
Why take Son off instead of Lamela. Lamela not performing any better this season.Nkoudou should be given chance
