A statistical report from the Fantasy Football game Oulala has revealed a key area in which Spurs can make a massive improvement.
Oulala have produced a league table which shows the shot conversion rate for every Premier League club this season.
The top four positions in the table are filled by the sides that currently occupy the top four spots in the Premier League – albeit in a different order – Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
Despite Tottenham being fifth in the Premier League, they are way down in 16th place when in comes to the shot conversion chart. The team are currently converting just 8.6% of the chances they are creating.
That gives Spurs a huge potential for improvement. Should the team up their conversion rate then the goals will really start flowing, as with 209 shots this season, only Liverpool have made more attempts.
With Harry Kane out injured until recently, Tottenham have struggled for goals, with Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son not always producing what they’re capable of and new striker Vincent Janssen yet to score from open play.
