Mauricio Pochettino has some tough decisions to make as Spurs prepare to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Will he go for a back four or try to match Chelsea’s match three and who plays at left-back, with Danny Rose suspended and Ben Davies injured?

We’d go for a back four and Jan Vertonghen in central defence, with Kevin Wimmer at left-back. In midfield we’d play a central three that would see Victor Wanyama line up alongside Mousa Dembele and Harry Winks.

A front three would see Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son supporting lone striker Harry Kane.

Here’s our Spurs team to face Chelsea. What’s yours?

      • Got to agree with this. Why not give him a run in gthe team? We can see Jannsen is offthe pace and Son is so inconsistent but is quick. Eriksen at the minute is abysmal – no creation awful freekicks andcorners. At leas he could stretch Chelsea. Must be slmething wrong with scouting system because the following are and were not top strikers
        Soldado
        Son
        Jannsen
        Sissoko
        Njie
Onomah -home grown but awful against Livrrpool.
With the money from the above surely we could have bought established goalscorers
I dont believe the nonsense abiut time to settle.
Back to the euro exit why did we drop Walker when their winger was a flyer who crossed at every opportunity?
In our most important game we played a back four who had never played together?
Why play all season to qualify to produce awful performances like those at Wembley
Pochettino the magician -I dont think so
Out team looks knackered and no longer interested in chasing every ball
Harry gets injured again we are toothless.

  1. Time for a few spurs players to prove they are fit to wear the shirt:

    Lloris
    Walker
    Dier
    Wimmer
    Vertonghen
    Wanyama
    Dembele
    Sissoko
    Ali
    Nkoudou
    Kane

  2. Lloris
Walker Dier vertonghan wimmer Dembele Sissoko wanyama
    Son Alli
    Kane

Alli and Dembele to push moses back defensively, when Spurs on attack, and wimmer move over with wanyama as a filter.
Sissoko can get forward but also back when needed in defence, Son and Kane the main targets/ threat at goal.

Wink and nkodou or Erikson off the bench if shape isn’t working

  3. Lloris
Vertonghen Wimmer Dier Walker (Wimmer Dier because we’re only unlucky in the champions league)Dembele Wanyama
    Dembele pushes up this level
    Eriksen Alli Son
    Kane
    Super subs:
Vorm Carter-Vickers Tripper Winks Nkoudou Sissoko Janssen
    COYS!!!!!!

  4. Give Jansen a bash up front with Kane, son has been brutal recently. This is Janssens type of game,he’s a fighter and we will need that against Chelsea where as son tends to shy away from the rough side of things. Please no Wimmer, don’t rate him at all.

  5. losing rose and no davies cover is a big loss. difficult to go 3 at the back as we lack wing back cover, hence the likelihood of a back 4 to suit the resources available.
hope we approach the game as we did with man city

  6. Just look at our bench! We have great youngsters coming through and already made the first team, but we desperately need fully fledged experienced world class players to finish our great team.Nearly there poch…..world class winger and striker I reckon is all we need.

  7. Instead of whining like a little biatchhhhh(JAMES) support the fucking team! We’ve had enough of negative twats like you over the years who only sing when we’re winning! Back the spurs or fuck off down the road to those pussy gooners!! ??

    • Yes look at the bench! Im no whiner but a realist. Read what I said we need experienced players not the players listed. When you look at the bale money and the players signed and thoseabove theres something wrong. Jannsen worked his socks but we play football not run marathons.
