Christian Eriksen scored his third goal in two games to put Tottenham 5-0 up against Swansea, which is how it finished at White Hart Lane.
Harry Kane scored from the spot before Heung-Min Son doubled Spurs’ lead before half time.
Kane scored again after the break, his eighth goal in ten league appearances this season.
Christian Eriksen’s double ensured a big victory for the hosts. Swansea, on the other hand, have conceded nine goals in their last two games.
Here’s how Spurs Twitter reacted to the performance and result.
jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way, oh what fun it is to see a goal from open play

Fantastic game, could easily have been eight or nine! Huge confidence boost for the likes of Eriksen – who was superb. #COYS

Consider injuries to Lloris/Alderweireld/Rose/Dembele/Lamela/Alli/Kane & still only 7pts off top, we're only getting stronger! #COYS#THFC

Fantastic win. Exactly what was needed. Christian Eriksen back to his best, Sissoko with an assist and Kane there as always. Beautiful #COYS

It's a good win but let's not go too overboard about it, Swansea are absolutely shit, we should be beating teams like this for fun.

Great performance, needed a convincing win like that.. hopefully now we can push on! #COYS

Got to love seeing Eriksen doing well. He's unplayable when he's at his best & makes everything tick for us. His consistency is crucial.

Kane is a three-season wonder.

Thought Dele looked back to his tricky, imaginative and positive self today. It's just very weird watching a Spurs game that unstressed.

Funny how none of those on twitter mention that at 0-0 it needed a cheating dive by Alli to go ahead. funny that…
Lol!! Looks like some1 is bitter haha
I know! Crazy! When you smash a team 5-0, have over 20 shots, over 60% possession and they don’t manage a single shot on target -0 it’s almost as if that one individual moment didn’t really mean that much.
Oh yeh because without the penalty Swansea would won 3-0…yeh owight mate
Give Sissoko more game time then see if hes any good if not drop him and sell him
This is an over reaction. Spurs played against a very poor team who even Palace scored 4 against.
Eriksen may have scored but he was still below par and offered nothing else in the game.
Sissoko gave the ball away and made a poor cross. One assist in all the games he has played means nothing.
Dembele, Walker and Vertonghen were our best performers. Son scored a fantastic goal.
Alli did nothing special and was found out for cheating, which he has been doing ever since he joined the club.
