The dust has settled on Tottenham’s disappointing draw with Sunderland and it’s time for you to give your player ratings.
With Liverpool drawing with Chelsea and Arsenal losing at home to Watford, Spurs had the chance to really take advantage last night, only to drop two valuable points.
Though the team dominated possession, Spurs struggled to create chances in the first-half, in which two key moments occurred that could have changed the complexion of the game. Jack Rodwell should have been sent off for a vicious foul on Mousa Dembele, while an injury to Danny Rose robbed the team of his thrust down the left.
Victor Wanyama had a great chance to score in the second-half, only to head over. Though the draw stretched Tottenham’s unbeaten run to ten games, this one has to go down as a wasted opportunity.
