Tottenham were by far the better team in the first half of their Premier League clash with Middlesbrough at White Hart Lane, but that opening goal remained elusive.
That was until ten minutes into the second half. Heung-Min Son, who had threatened the Middlesbrough defence all evening, was fouled in the box and the referee correctly pointed to the spot.
Harry Kane stepped up and made no mistake, powerfully placing the ball into the bottom corner.
