The dust has settled on Tottenham’s victory over Middlesbrough and it’s time to give your player ratings.

Despite their lowly position, Middlesbrough have one of the best defensive records in the Premier League this season and they proved why at White Hart Lane, as Spurs struggled to break down the visitors.

Harry Kane was the man who scored the vital goal from the penalty spot, having earlier had a goal ruled out for offside. Kane has now scored against 23 of the 25 teams he’s played against in the Premier League.

Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama controlled play in the middle of the park, while further forward Heung-Min Son caused plenty of problems with his pace and trickery.

It was another clean sheet for Hugo Lloris and the back four in front of him, which included Ben Davies deputising for Danny Rose. Tottenham have the best defensive record in the league once more, conceding just 16 goals this season.
