Tottenham’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Millwall at White Hart Lane got off to the worst possible start when Harry Kane hobbled off with an ankle injury just a few minutes in.
Kane managed to get a shot away from a tight angle but his leg was caught under the challenge of a Millwall defender, and he appeared to turn his right ankle.
It’s the same ankle he injured earlier in the season. He missed over a month of action last time, so Spurs fans were understandably anxious to see Kane hobble off again. Here’s how they reacted.
Kane hobbling around the back of the pitch. Shakes his head at Pochettino. Looks like Eriksen coming on. #thfc

Only good thing is that an international break is coming up which could help us

Janssen overlooked on the bench and Spurs without a recognised striker. Poch really doesn't rate him, does he? #coys

#thfc Kane's departure a blow of course. Only silver lining is there's only one more game (at home v Southampton) before international break
