The dust has settled on Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Southampton and it’s time for you to give your player ratings.

With Harry Kane absent there was a worry that Spurs might struggle to find the net, but those fears were allayed when Christian Eriksen gave the team the lead was a long range effort after just 14 minutes.

Heung-Min Son played up front in place of Kane and gave a typically industrious display, but failed to find the net despite having a couple of good chances. Dele Alli had no such issues when he tucked home a penalty in the first-half to make it 2-0, extending his scoring streak to four successive games.

In the second-half Southampton pulled one back and put the team under some pressure as they searched for an equaliser, but Spurs managed to ride the storm and take back control of the game.

  1. Pottch has too start playing young harry winks !What great young talent ! Great at driving forward !!!! Dembele slows the team up far too much !!

    • Dembele keeps the possession and keeps the team flowing allowing players in front to make their runs. One of the best midfielders in the league, you only have to look at his stats

  2. Agree Dembele is our best midfield player , Winks looks great driving forward , Wanyama not a great and gifted player but my word is a beast in midfield which allows Eriksen to go and link up with Ali and Harry . I would like to see Janssen get a run for 75 mins plus v Burnley / Watford / Bournemouth with Son coming on last 15mins say IMO Davies is the weak link at the mo can’t wait for DR to return .
