Tottenham found the first 30 minutes of their Premier League clash with Watford quite difficult in front of a home crowd anticipating another win at White Hart Lane.

Vincent Janssen missed two good chances and Watford created a couple of opportunities of their own. But when Dele Alli opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, Spurs began to roar.

Eric Dier doubled the hosts’ advantage with a powerful drive minutes after Alli’s opener.

It looked like Mauricio Pochettino’s side would go into the break 2-0 up, but Heung-Min Son had other ideas, making it 3-0 just before the break.
