Tottenham face Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Saturday knowing a win will close the gap on Chelsea to four points before the leaders go to Old Trafford on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won their last six Premier League games and will be confident of a seventh successive victory against an all but safe Bournemouth side.

Victor Wanyama has missed the last two matches with a back injury, but the Kenyan is fit to return this weekend. The question is — should he play?

We think Pochettino should stick with the team that thrashed Watford 4-0 last weekend, bar a couple of changes. Eric Dier has impressed in midfield lately, able to drop into a back three when needed. He should retain his place next to Mousa Dembele, meaning there is a place for Heung-Min Son in the front line.

Kyle Walker will almost definitely return at right-back, while Harry Kane should be fit enough to replace Vincent Janssen up top. Here’s our XI — what do you think?

  1. Spot on Andy, what would Trippier have to do to justify keeping his place against a team like Bournemouth. Davies played ok but we have to play him due to Rose being injured but Tripper played brilliant and we don’t have to play Walker so why not reward Trippier accordingly ? Trippier in all day for me …
