Tottenham kept up the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea with a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening.

After the disappointment of losing the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Wembley last weekend, it was crucial for Spurs to bounce back with three points at Palace.

And thanks to Christian Eriksen’s wonderful winner, that’s exactly what they did.

In previous years, Tottenham might have reacted to going out in one competition by crumbling in another. But under Mauricio Pochettino, this Spurs side is made of sterner stuff.
