Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-0 in the final north London derby at White Hart Lane, consequently finishing above their fierce rivals in the Premier League in 22 years.
After a tightly contested first half, Spurs scored two goals three minutes after the break to put themselves 17 points ahead of the Gunners in the table with just five games left for Arsene Wenger’s side to play.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men utterly outfought the visitors throughout and, if not for Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech, it could have been a lot more.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result and performance.
This magnificent season is the most fitting tribute possible for White Hart Lane. Saved the best til last. #TOTARS #NLD #COYS

So many fantastic performances, particularly in the second half. Jan, Davies, Wanyama and Kane the standouts. Son was dangerous too.
