Tottenham are exploring the possibility of signing Bournemouth striker Josh King this summer, according to The Mirror.
King has scored 12 Premier League goals in 2017 — only Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku have found the net more often since since the turn of the year.
The 25-year-old has three years left on his contract with the Cherries and is believed to be valued at around £15 million.
Spurs spent approximately £18 million on Vincent Janssen last summer. The Dutchman would be likely to leave the club if King were to arrive.
Many believe Janssen is deserving of another season at Tottenham, while others are keen for an upgrade to give Kane more support up front. The Dutchman has been linked with a move to West Brom.
Even Janssen’s supporters will admit a striker like King, who has bagged 10 more league goals in 2017 than Janssen has scored all season, is more likely to succeed at Spurs in the immediate future.
