As if Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker aren’t already competing for a big enough prize — a starting place at right-back for Tottenham.
The club’s betting parter, William Hill, set up a drone race course at the Spurs training ground, and Tripper was given the chance to go head-to-head with Walker for a very different reward.
Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko also took park in what William Hill call the ‘Speed Challenge’. Players race a drone around a tricky course, trying to stop each other by any means necessary — i.e. smashing footballs at each other’s drones.
