Danny Rose could miss the beginning of next season after undergoing exploratory surgery on his left knee.
The left-back limped off in Tottenham’s 0-0 draw at Sunderland back in January, and was expect to miss around a month of action at the time.
But the club has repeatedly pushed his return date back due to Rose rehabilitation taking longer than first expected.

The 26-year-old had been tipped to return before the end of the current season, but Spurs have announced he has undergone exploratory knee surgery today and will now return next term.
Sky Sports believe Rose is expected to miss the beginning of next season. Here’s how Twitter reacted.
@SpursOfficial He’s gone to live on the same ‘farm’ as Erik hasn’t he? ?

#thfc Presumably the decision has been taken now Spurs have nothing to play for. But why not decisive action when he was first injured?

Will be interesting to see if Pochettino opts to look at Luke Shaw in the summer as cover for Danny Rose, knows him well from So’ton.#THFC

Rose is now the second player that has missed extensive time only to undergo surgery and miss more time. Not the greatest trend

Real shame for Tottenham that Danny Rose is going to be injured for the entire transfer window.

@GaffneyVLC Yeah. Club over egging it in case it goes pear shaped. Everyone happy if returns sooner..

As disappointing as it is to see Rose undergoing surgery, Davies has really come on and benefited from regular football in his absence #THFC

On the plus side, Danny Rose won't be leaving the club this summer. ?♂️
