Tottenham are interested in signing Freiberg forward Maximilian Philipp, according to reports in Germany.
Philipp has scored nine goals in the Bundesliga this season and has made five appearances for the Germany under-21s side.
TalkSport claims the 23-year-old is attracting the interest of clubs in Italy and Spain as well as German side Red Bull Leipzig.
And German publication Kicker believes Tottenham are also keen on signing Philipp this summer. TalkSport also suggests “Spurs could firm up their interest in the coming weeks with a formal offer.”
He made his Freiberg debut in 2014 as a midfielder, but has become more of an attacker in the years since. You can watch some of his season highlights below.
I think Schick looks a better prospect!
Yea but why would he come to us to be on our bench? A lot of big clubs want him
We should be more ambitious and aim for the likes of Timo Werner!
