For Mauricio Pochettino, Sunday’s league meeting with Manchester United in the last ever game at White Hart Lane went exactly to plan.
But the 45-year-old probably didn’t expect to be shown how to use a traditional football rattle by one particularly insistent fan.
Pochettino was signing autographs for supporters on the way to the changing rooms when one fan decided to give something back to the boss.
The Spurs manager was handed a rattle — you don’t see those too often anymore! — and asked to give it a go.
And that’s exactly what Pochettino did.
