Tottenham are interested in signing Thomas Lemar from Monaco this summer, according to reports in France.

L’Equipe claims Mauricio Pochettino has moved the left winger to the top of his summer shortlist — this might be a reaction to former target Wilfried Zaha signing a new contract at Crystal Palace.

Lemar scored in both of Monaco’s victories over Spurs in the Champions League last season. In all competitions, the 21-year-old tallied 14 goals 17 assists in 55 appearances.

Capped twice by France, Lemar is attracting interest from other big clubs in Europe, including Juventus. It looks like Tottenham will have to fend off some serious competition if they want to sign the £25 million-rated man.

  1. I don’t see us getting Thomas Lemar for 25m but we should get him all the same, have been hugely impressed with him this campaign and looks like he could be a poch superstar in the making.
