It’s fair to say Vincent Janssen has been in the best goalscoring form since joining Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar for £18 million last summer.
The Dutchman scored just twice in the Premier League last season, one of which came from the penalty spot.
Janssen has struggled to adapt to the English game and has found it difficult to challenge Harry Kane for a place in Spurs’ starting eleven.
Many fans believe he should be given another year to prove himself in the Premier League, and his latest international goal shows why.
Janssen scored Holland’s second goal in a friendly against Morocco yesterday, taking the ball on his chest and cleverly volleying past the goalkeeper. You can watch the strike below.
