A report in The London Evening Standard has revealed the five transfer targets Mauricio Pochettino has prioritised at Tottenham this summer.
According to Tom Collomosse’s story, Pochettino wants to sign Ross Barkley, Ryan Sessegnon, Thomas Lemar, Adam Smith and Harry Maguire.
Barkley is expected to leave Everton in the coming transfer window after refusing to sign a new contract with the Merseysiders.
Spurs are favourites to sign Fulham’s Sessegnon after Liverpool cooled their interest, but could face competition from Manchester United for the 17-year-old.
Thomas Lemar is a target for Arsenal but Tottenham will attempt to lure the £25 millon-rated Monaco winger with Champions League football.
Former Spurs defender Adam Smith is valued at around £15 million by Bournemouth and is also reportedly attracting the interest of champions Chelsea.
And finally, Harry Maguire is certain to leave Hull City following the Tigers’ relegation but Tottenham might be too big a step-up for the centre-back.
